Lusero Arias, Board Member

Lusero Arias is the Executive Director/CEO of La Casa de las Madres, a domestic violence program in San Francisco.

Lusero is proud to be a first-generation college graduate. She earned a law degree (J.D.) with dual specializations in Family Law and Public Interest Law and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of San Francisco. While at law school, she worked with immigrant families seeking humanitarian relief; she was admitted to an Honors Lawyering Program and received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award. Lusero was also awarded the Emerging Leader Award in 2015 from Bank of America’s Neighborhood Builders Program under their economic mobility and community development programs.

Lusero is passionate about empowering and advocating for underserved populations and helping youth gain access to every opportunity for academic advancement.
